Kids Art Classes

Our kids lessons explore the fundamentals of painting, drawing & clay, and are suitable for ages 5+Up.  We will explore famous artists and art periods as well as the elements of art & principles of design.  We offer 3 semesters a year (Fall, Winter & Spring), with 10 classes in each semester.  We will dabble in acrylics, watercolours, pencil crayons, pencil, charcoal, pastels, marker, clay and more!  Each student receives their own sketchbook to work out ideas, and learn the value of process work.  Students are shown techniques based on their age group, and encouraged to experiment, but above all we strive to have fun and enjoy the creative process!

We provide our students with fresh lessons each semester and we're inspired by different artists, art movements and seasons.  We use a variety of painting and drawing mediums each semester, along with clay and we're always striving to show our students new ways of creating.

Small class sizes: Our small class sizes allow for each student to receive one-on-one attention & guidance from our Art Teachers regularly throughout the class. ​​

Flexibility: Our age groups are flexible, and we’re happy to accommodate! If you have siblings or friends in different age ranges who’d like to be in the same class, just let us know. We’re always happy to recommend the best fit based on your needs.

Tuesday classes: APR 22, 29, MAY 6, 13, 20, 27, JUN 3, 10, 17 & 24

Wednesday classes: APR 23, 30, MAY 7, 14, 21, 28, JUN 4, 11, 18 & 25

Thursday classes: APR 24, MAY 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, JUN 5, 12, 19 & 26

Tuesday

4:00-4:45pm      Ages 5-7 yrs old           

5:15-6:15pm      Ages 8-11 yrs old   

6:45-7:45pm      Ages 12+Up

Wednesday      

4:00-4:45pm      Ages 5-7 yrs old   

5:15-6:15pm      Ages 8-11 yrs old      

6:45-7:45pm      Ages 12+Up - This class won’t be running this spring due to low enrollment — but we’d love to bring it back in a future sessions if there’s interest!

5:15-6:15pm      Ages 8-11 yrs old 

6:45-7:45pm      Ages 8+Up

Semester Fees: 

$226 ($200+hst) ~ per semester (10 x 45 minute classes) for ages 5-7 year old

$282.50 ($250+hst) ~ per Semester (10 x 60 minute classes) for ages 8+Up

Includes all supplies, PLUS our end of semester Student Art Show!

Student Art Show:

We host a Student Art Show to wrap up each semester, family & friends are welcome to come and see all the amazing art our students have created! Our Art Shows are typically held the 2nd last Saturday of each semester, so that we have time to pack everything up and return all artwork to our students for the last week of classes.
